GMV establishes full ownership over NSL
With its headquarter in Madrid, GMV already boasts a comprehensive portfolio of products and services in a wide range of industries ranging from aerospace and defence to telecommunications and cybersecurity. In line with its growth strategy, GMV recently announced the merger agreement between GMV Innovative Solutions Limited, the corporation’s UK subsidiary, and Nottingham Scientific Limited (NSL), a leading British satellite navigation firm. The deal makes GMV the sole owner of NSL and lays the ground for the creation of a new subsidiary – GMV NSL – pending the integration into the existing corporate family of companies.
NSL’s specialisation in critical applications and satellite navigation made it a fitting match for GMV’s main UK business focused on earth observation, mission planning, navigation, etc. Furthermore, both companies share many major clients, including the European Space Agency (ESA), the UK Space Agency (UKSA), and the European Commission (EC).
