IPNTJ convened 24th GPS/GNSS Symposium 2019 at TUMSAT on Nov 16th -18th as usual
Objectives supports cooperation between the GNSS industries of Europe and Asia-Pacific, with a focus on chipset/receiver manufacturers and downstream applications. The project has supported over 40 businesses, with outreach to over 1200 visitors at global events. The project also promotes the benefits of Galileo and EGNOS to industrial and institutional stakeholders in Asia-Pacific.
Leverage industrial cooperation across continents aims to stimulate the creation of partnerships through industrial matchmaking and outreach events. These include workshops, industry seminars, delegation visits and roundtables.
Support institutional relations
Via a network of local institutional partners, can support EU and Asia-Pacific civil institutions in their aims of cooperation and standardisation.
Drive EGNSS adoption promotes the benefits of Galileo and EGNOS as service enablers and performance enhancers in the multi-GNSS hotspots of Asia-Pacific.
About is financed under the EU Horizon 2020 programme and coordinated by the European GNSS Agency (GSA).

Since its establishment in 2012, the project has facilitated several EU-Asian business partnerships on GNSS activities via targeted industrial matchmaking. In addition, has advocated the uptake of EGNSS services to key stakeholders in the region.

Via a network of local representatives across Asia, supplemented with expert knowledge of local and wider technology trends, continues to drive cooperation on GNSS technology across continents. The project has a significant outreach, including via workshops, industry seminars and roundtables, both in Asia and in the EU.
