GNSS applications are used in many areas of trade, services, and industry. One critical application is in Logistics, eCommerce and Transportation, i.e. supporting air, rail and road transports.
India’s logistics market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 10.5% between 2019 and 2025. Advancements in digital technologies will improve the efficiency and performance in freight management and port operations. Increased investment in infrastructure, last-mile connectivity, warehouse segment, eCommerce and transport (air, road, maritime, and railways) will be key drivers of GNSS applications in India.
At the same time, the market is facing a series of challenges, including
- The lack of integration in transport networks, information technology, and warehousing & distribution facilities.
- Poor management and facilities, which is the reason for heavy losses, damage and deterioration of stock, mainly in the perishables sector. Proper refrigerated storage and containers and maintenance is must.
The European industry on its side is considered as an early adopter and driver of new GNSS technologies and innovations. In this online workshop, GNSS.asia brings you how GNSS solutions from Europe and India could address the challenges India’s logistics and transport market is facing.
This online workshop will be recorded and published on the GNSS.asia website and YouTube account. The participant list, including your first name, last name and organisation, will be shared with the panellists for the preparation of this webinar.
