The Market and Technology Trends report 2nd edition is out!
The entire GNSS.asia team worked hard to have this Christmas present ready for our readers and the entire GNSS community – the second edition of the Market and Technology Trends Report. This is an almost 50-page long paper that contains a massive collection of the latest and greatest on the ground insights from all GNSS.asia’s key Asian regions: India, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, and Australasia.
Each region has its own extensive section that follows the same core structure:
- Upstream Developments – satellite and satellite augmentation systems, ground equipment, policy initiatives and more
- Market Trends – trends seen in the downstream applications domains across different markets
- Macro Technology Trends – trends involving advances in key technology areas considered as potential GNSS enablers, such as robotics, digitalisation and AI, as well as big data
This issue of the report dives into an array of topics including Taiwan’s intentions to develop indigenous defence and space industries, Geely’s plan to launch its own LEO GNSS satellites, South Korea’s aspiration to develop two indigenous satellite navigation constellations (KASS and KPS), researchers from India using new models to predict large scale anomalies, and one year of success for the Japanese GNSS Constellation QZSS.
