Flashback to the GNSS.asia Hub Launch Event

On 16 June, the GNSS.asia Hub finally celebrated its launch and increased the realms of possibilities for industry collaboration in the GNSS community further. The Hub serves as a bridge to facilitate networking with key GNSS professionals from Asia-Pacific and Europe and offers a marketplace, where not only products and services, but also expertise, job and partnership offers are available. All of the future GNSS.asia events will be hosted via the Hub from now on.

At the launch event Pavlina Nikolova, International Relations Officer at the European Commission (DG DEFIS), offered interesting insights into the current European strategy for industrial cooperation and highlighted the importance and high priority it holds. Afterwards a great Keynote on the European GNSS Agency (GSA) becoming the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) was given by Martin Sunkevic, Market Development Innovation Officer at EUSPA.

Additionally, the GNSS.asia Team presented a flashback on the successful cooperation the project has fostered so far. From mediating between stakeholders to organising Hackathons and Events. All of this collaboration will now be enhanced through the Hub.

If you have missed the launch event, where all the functions of the Hub are explained in detail, you can check out a recording of it here. Julia Lohse, the project manager of GNSS.asia gave an introduction into the Hub itself and elaborated on its raison d’être.
